It can be far too easy to dismiss simply composed recipes as likely lacking in flavor or interest.

But the best simple recipes truly are brilliant showcases for their ingredients.

Such is the case with Jasper White’s books, which perfectly highlight the beauty of fresh seafood through simple but specific flavor profiles & techniques.

I’ve yet to find a bad dish here. Two favorites: Shrimp Salad & Pan Fried Cod.

50 Chowders
Oh how I love chowder! If you do too, there quite literally is no better book to add to your library than this.
